When Hubs and I decided to move here after a job offer for him, we decided I would stay home to raise our then 6 month old. Over the Fourth this year our family traveled to Glacier National Park to spend a few days exploring the wild. Before the trip, I searched blogs and the interwebs to get a sense of what the park would be like and to prepare for what to pack. I found some good advice, but to be honest, nothing prepared me for what GNP is really like. So here’s my take on it all and advice for if you’re planning a trip there.
When Hubs and I were driving down to Rochester on Christmas Day for his heart procedure the next morning, I began asking him last will and testament types of questions. Because I’m me and I like to prepare for the worst possible outcome as a way to somehow cosmically prevent it from happening. My youngest son gave me a waffle maker when he was little as a Christmas gift one year. A couple Christmases later, he gave me yet another waffle maker. He REALLY likes waffles!
